The 5s I got at first were just too tight whereas the size 6 fits snugly. Service was extremely speedy and no charge for postage, other than making a return.

These transform sea swimming in winter as they keep your feet from turning into ice blocks! I’ve bought pairs for my son and friends and Surf Surf were really helpful with amending the order as I’d got the wrong size.

Oh wow I love these socks! I had been using 5mm boots but the water came in the tops and my feet were still numb. My feet are actually warm when I take take these socks off after being in the sea in March. So happy!

These socks are true to size. They are thicker and warmer than my old ones, but don’t, alas, keep the water out, despite their snug fit.

I'm very pleased with these socks. Steve and Sarah were really helpful in response to my questions on the phone about best size and product. They advised me to buy one size bigger as these socks do come up rather small and I even thought one size bigger might be too small when they arrived but they advised me that if they were not a tight fit that they would not insulate as required. I almost ordered bigger anyway but decided to take their advice and they were spot on! Thank you very much Steve and Sarah for taking the time on the phone to advise and answer my many questions!

Sizing is the critical thing to get right!

If you are half size smaller you will fit perfect.
If you are half size larger you will want XL.

Tight is better than loose. Much better than the Alder Burn 4mm size9-UK sock that filled with half pint of water each and made me feel like Elephant-foot-man.
Just make sure you clip and file your toenails so to not punch holes prematurely in these quality but not cheap sponge socks
