This is the newer version of the best selling FCS Wet Bucket Hat with neck flap- ideal for surfing in the sun! Also great for kayaking, SUP and many other sports.
The wide brim will keep the sun off your face and the back of your neck and shed water after duck-diving. The quick drying microfiber fabric is soft and comfy, and the neoprene chinstrap has plastic fittings that won't rust. Also features a removable security cord with rash-shirt/wetsuit clip, so you don't loose it in heavy surf, and a new rear vent panel to help drain water and keep you cool. This is the newer model with a 'legionnaires' neck flap which buttons on so it's removable when you don't need it.

I bought this hat for windsurfing. It's a good fit, and the chin strap prevents it from coming off in the wind. I've also used it for walking in hot weather, to keep the sun out of my eyes. In that case, the neoprene chin strap is not needed, so I drop it into the crown of the hat. This hat is versatile, and I'm pleased that I bought it.
Really fantastic hat, wore this for a 10 day surf and snorkel trip in the Maldives and it provided excellent protection and stayed on, even when diving down deep! Highly recommended!

After experiencing my first time getting heatstroke while surfing,i wanted to make sure I didn’t repeat history again.I heard that these were exceptional bucket hats,perfect for the ocean so decided to get one.Its a great hat and would definitely recommend.Its excellent for protecting the ears aswel.It was the first time ordering with SurfSurfSurf & I wasn’t disappointed.Excellent service and very speedy delivery
Sizing a bit on the small side. But will be great for the miseses. So I got a larger size
Delivered promptly and is a great light weight hat. Good for water sport or trekking. If not wearing for water sport it’s definitely worth going up a size. I’d normally wear L but this in XL is a good relaxed fit. This is second one bought over last few years and although the design has evolved it’s still a great buy.

Really well made. As other reviewers have mentioned, sizes do come up small, but I’m expecting to loosen up when wet. Roll on the need for a summer surf hat :-)
